Mary And Max is a simple tale of pen friendship between two very different people that spans nearly two decades and across two continents. Over their years of communication, they offer each other support, advice, and the opportunity to see life from a different perspective.
We at Vadodara Psychology Club decided to screen cinemas from around the world to raise awareness about various aspects of Mental Health. We will screen the movie "Mary And Max, " a poignant story of a pen-pal relationship between two unlikely people. Prevention begins when we generate awareness and have empathy towards the happenings of our surroundings as well.
The screening of the film will be followed by a discussion on the subject led by a Clinical Psychologist on 4th September 2022, Sunday between 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
About The Facilitator:
Zeba Jinwala, is an Ornithophile, Clinical Psychologist, and Researcher. Psychology and movies have been pivotal to me. My passion and enthusiasm have kept me working in the field of mental health. Cinema helps in understanding and relating to psychology and life. So, I'm hoping all of you will join this wonderful journey in exploring cinema through the psychological lens with me on 4th September 2022, Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. I am excited to have you all be a part of this eventful evening discussion.
