Shraddha is a PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) certified mental health counsellor and psychotherapist. Her practice is guided by person-centred therapy, recognising that you are the expert in your own life, while she walks alongside you with empathy, collaboration, and curiosity.
Having trained and worked across India and Australia, Shraddha brings a culturally responsive and trauma informed perspective to therapy. Her work is informed by trauma-informed, strengths-based, intersectional, and systemic approaches, recognising that our mental health is influenced by personal experiences as well as the social, cultural, and family systems we belong to.
Shraddha has worked with people from diverse cultural, social, and linguistic backgrounds, including international students, migrants, refugees, young adults, and individuals navigating complex life circumstances. She has experience supporting clients with anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, domestic and family violence, life transitions, self-esteem and body image concerns, relationship difficulties, stress, and emotional overwhelm, among other challenges.
Shraddha believes that mental health, physical health and social wellbeing are inter connected. Along with reducing Shraddha works collaboratively with clients understand them as a whole person and strives to create a space that feels safe enough for them to create change that feels meaningful to them.
