Counselling Psychologist & Narrative Practitioner

Unnati (she/her) is a therapist and consultant psychologist with over three years of experience in the social development sector. She has previously worked as a Mental Health and Child Protection Consultant with UNICEF in a remote district of Chhattisgarh. Holding an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a PG Diploma in Clinical and Community Psychology from MSU Baroda, she has further specialized through a certificate course in Couples Counselling and Family Therapy from TISS and a Diploma in Narrative Practices from the Narrative Practices India Collective. Unnati finds joy in engaging in meaningful conversations that span food, psychology, cultural practices, politics, and philosophy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching diverse content—web series, films—and grooving to upbeat music. As a therapist, she takes a decolonizing, anti-caste, queer-affirmative, neuro-affirmative, and liberation-focused stance, grounded in narrative practices.
